When can we get started with the driver education course?
Immediately! Give us a call at 270-443-FRED (270-443-3733) or click here to REGISTER with us. We'll get you scheduled for the earliest possible classroom session. Students can attend the classroom session immediately, but they must be 15 years old and have their permit to drive with us.
How does the process work for 15 year-olds?
According to the McCracken DMV, you will go through the normal permitting process. As soon as you turn 15, you can begin classes with us. Once you get your permit, you can begin driving. However, in order to obtain your license, you MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

-
You must abide by the 6 month waiting period
-
You must complete and document 60 hours of driving practice
-
You MUST BE 16 years old to get your license.
How does this affect my student who is currently training with you?
It doesn't affect them at all. Students who were 16 on getting their permit must still abide by the 6 month waiting period. They must also still complete and document the 60 hours of driving practice.
